Ghislain is a partner and co-head of the “Tax and Customs Law” department.

He has been practicing as a tax lawyer for more than 20 years and advises French and international companies and groups on their operations across all areas of taxation.

Advising companies on corporate income tax, VAT, local taxes, property tax, group taxation, restructurings, and payroll tax.

Managing goods and services flows and cross-border transactions: value-added tax (VAT), transfer pricing, customs regulations, and sector-specific product regulations (weapons and defence-related equipment, dual-use goods, plant protection products, etc.).

Implementing, securing and optimizing international contracts (tax treatment, Incoterms management, customs duties, etc.), sourcing, manufacturing and distribution strategies, cost/margin optimization (free-trade agreements), and the design of operating models (LRD structures, commissionaire, agent, etc.).

Tax and customs audits and litigation (administrative and judicial courts).

Tax aspects of ERP systems (configuration, rule engines, accounting and reporting tools, reliable audit trails, e-invoicing, etc.).

Ghislain advises clients across a wide range of industries, including aerospace and defence, national and international transport, real estate, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, and the art market.
