Marie-André Nivet

Marie-André primarily practises in the field of intellectual property law, with recognised expertise in trademarks, designs and domain names.

She assists clients in the protection, enforcement and enhancement of their intangible assets, both in France and internationally.

Her practice notably covers clearance searches, trademark and design filings and monitoring, audits, contractual negotiations, as well as pre-litigation and litigation matters relating to intellectual property and unfair competition. She also advises on copyright, trade secrets, confidentiality agreements and proceedings before the relevant intellectual property offices.

In addition, she advises clients on their general terms and conditions (GTCs), terms of use (TOUs), and supports them in achieving GDPR compliance, in coordination with external Data Protection Officers (DPOs).
